All three of these men shaped Janies independence and voice done their time spent with her.\nMr. Logan Killicks was Janies first husband. At the commencement of their marriage, Logan would speak in rhymes (false words) to Janie, unless that soon ended once Janie resisted his attempts to com human raced her. Logan saw Janie as de mule uh de world (Hurston 14). Logan had the persuasion that marriage was a man dominating a muliebrity, and that women argon objects to put to use. Janie saw Logan as a very pathetic old man, and he was non compatible with her youthful beauty. As a result, Janie feels as if Logan is heartless and does not understand her worth, so she leaves him to marr y Joe Starks.\nThe ambitious Joe Starks is Janies second husband....
