A & P by John Updike\nThe following handing over is when Sammie the 19-year-old boy discontinue his p arntage at the local anesthetic ace market A&P. Sammie is works on a atomic number 90 good afternoon and in scram 3 girls erosion clean suites. All three girls ar judged in his eyes and he goes into detail somewhat what he sees. The first ace is queenie who seems to be the leader of the group of girls. Since whole 3 girls ar wearing nonhing however their bikinis they are asked by the jitney Lengel to leave, who rallys in from, haggling with a transport full of cabbages on the stool and is about to scuttle into that doorsill marked MANAGER(21).They are asked to leave the store and come back when they are dressed. Sammie dish this happening and decided he wants to quit. When he quits he does not want to be like the sheep he calls the costumers or every ace else. Sheep seem to follow one another and stop when one stops and so on. Sammie quits because he wants to impr ess these girls. He is immature still notwithstanding then realizes that the girls are not there anymore and he has now stepped into a new-fangled world regardless of what his parents and his manager want.\n\nMiss brill by Katherine Mansfield\nThe following passage is about Miss Brill and her biting macrocosm. Miss Brill is an old lady who spends her Sunday afternoons at the park-watching people. There is nothing premature with watching people but she believes that she somehow impacts their lives or that she is apart(predicate) of these strangers lives. She has been enjoying her usual Sunday afternoon at the park until she notices a young bring together lecture about her. The young couple states that they dont project why she is as yet at the park and make summercater of her pelt. She leaves upset and doesnt even go get her deary pastry at the local bakery because she is upset. Miss Brill is a lonely womanhood who creates fantasies in her mind.
